Shopify is a website builder that helps small businesses create online stores. It is considered user-friendly and accessible for beginners. However there is not a logical sequence to start building the online store for first time users. It is also difficult for new users to find essential task buttons to navigate through the site.There is not a clear visibility of the system status. And the platform design appears overly generic and not updated in comparison with its main competitors.
Improve the clarity of the system status to ensure users have a clear understanding of the ongoing processes. Establish a cohesive and logical sequence for building the site, eliminating confusion caused by multiple approaches and ensuring a smoother user experience.

Excessive use of grays, almost a monochrome appearance which makes difficult to recognize crucial information. Small Font size on Menu and Tittles on main navigation.
Change color on different sections of the screen to differentiate them, and to break the monochrome feeling, this also helps to give hierarchy to important information.
